So, I bet some of you have applied for muses, are thinking of applying for muses or are just curious and are wondering exactly how Seoul, South Korea is going to run as far as roleplay communities go. Let me just explain a few important factors starting with the comm itself and then stretching out to individual responsibility.
We will not be roleplaying on the community in posts, it's a little hard to control them that way, so all of our post-by-post roleplay will be done in either MSN messenger, AIM instant messenger or on the chat website I will be setting up for this community. The community can be used as a bulletin board. Need an example, here's one: YunHo is leaving to go to Portugal, cause of some weird thing, so to tell the band members he leaves a message on the fridge, So, my post would look like this
Subject: [message on DBSK's fridge from YunHo]
Hey guys, I went to portugal.
I would post this with YunHo's personal journal.
The community can also be used for OUT OF CHARACTER posts, this must be identified as "OUT OF CHARACTER" You can post these with your muse journal or your personal journal.
Also, posting logs is NOT required, but okay.
These are to be treated like an online blog/livejournal for your muse! Use it however you wish! But please make sure that you post in them, because I will be doing journal checks. It is ALSO important that you friend all of the other journals, so everyone can talk on their journals, too!
A paragraph form RP is preferred, if you're unsure about what that means, imagine you'rereading a fanfic, then cut the perspectives of the characters apart. Writing in paragraph form, third person RP is like writing back and forth as yourself, but as someone else. If you need help with RP, I will gladly help you :)
Here is a sample RP:
YunHo was tired, but thankfully he wasn't in a bad mood. The band had finally been given a day off, likely due to the fact that their time was going to become even busier with the new year. The leader of TVXQ dropped down onto the faux-suede couch that filled the majority of the apartment, after discarding his jacket. He had just been out with some friends. He stared blankly at the empty black television. The apartment he shared with the other four men reaked of the bibimbap that JaeJoong had cooked earlier and the dancer offhandedly wondered where the lead singer was. Infact, he wondered where the entirity of the band was. He supposed, though, that it wasn't really all that important. They'd been touring for several months now, traveling from one country to the next - his band members and best friends deserved time to themselves, away from everyone. Nevetheless, as Yunho picked up the television controller and turned it to whatever channel had been on previously, he wished he had some company.
Junsu span around in his computer chair a few times. It was rare to have so much free time after all the busy schedules that had been thrown down on them, but Junsu couldnt help but feel a little bored. Wearing only a pair of thin, dark jeans and a t-shirt, he wandered around the room for a sweater. Due to the fact that it was winter and freezing outside, the inside of their house had become a little chilly. Junsu found a nice grey sweater, not entirely sure that it belonged to him, and zipped himself up in it, loving how cozy it was. He looked around the room once more and found that there was really nothing to do in there, so, after shutting down his computer he walks out to the living room only to see their leader on the couch watching TV by himself. Deciding to join, Junsu walks to the couch, jumping and plopping down on it right next to the other man. "Heeey what are you watching there, all by yourself? "
ChangMin sighed, after removing yet another photo. He had to call the men on the remaining two photos later, and set up a day they could meet. Setting aside the picture in his hand, Changmin stood and stretched. His limbs were a bit sore from sitting down for so long, and his arms had gotten cold. Grabbing a sweater from the desk across from his, conviently Jaejoongs, he pulled on the warm clothing and exited his small workarea. After stepping out of the rather small room, his ears were greeted with high pitched squeals, tinged with static. Changmin took a guess that the tv was on, and walked out to see who was watching. "What exatly are you guys watching, anyway?"
Yoochun had gone into the media room when everyone came back. He leaned back in his chair, and stared at the piece of music in front of him, willing it to start writing music on its own. Rubbing his face, he set the pencil down, unable to think of anything that wanted to be written on the blank music sheet. He looked at the clock that hung above the door, sighing he decided that there wasn't anything he could do that would start the flow of music that usually came quickly for him. He pushed his chair back, and opened the door. Hearing odd high-pitched noises and static in the background, he walked towards the living room. "Are you guys watching some documentary on dolphins?" he asked, walking around the sofa to drop into the single chair situated perpendicular to the tv.
YunHo was a little bit surprised when suddenly JunSu was sitting next to him. Nevertheless, he smiled over at his friend and shrugged. "Apparently, the health channel." He gestured to the TV with the control as some person ran by in a work out show. Chuckling, he hit the 'menu' button and then scrolled through the various shows. He glanced over his shoulder as ChangMin's voice came into the room, reaching up to adjust his black glasses. His feathery brown hair fell in his mouth and he puffed a bout of air out to berid of it before he had to speak. "Su and I are learning how to be healthy again, how about you?" YunHo asked with a friendly little grin, reaching out to pinch a chunk of JunSu's non-existant gut. "As you can see, we're both in need of it." YunHo barely finished his sentence when YooChun entered the fray, and he had to laugh. "Dolphins?" Hardly at all, though YunHo was certain that he was sitting next to a dolphin right now! Deciding now to voice his jive on JunSu, he opted to turn the channel to a subtitled american movie.
